When Islam forces you to convert, or any religion for that matter

When you read about accounts that terrorists forced the two Fox News to "convert" to Islam at gunpoint it makes you wonder.

Centanni said he and Wiig were forced to convert to Islam at gunpoint.

"I have the highest respect for Islam ... but it was something we felt we had to do because they had the guns and we didn't know what the hell was going on."

Who forces someone to convert to their religion? Only those that are interested in THEIR power, not the power of God. When Right is turned to Might in getting someone to convert or change their mind concerning a religion, what does that say of that religion?

No where in the Bible does it state that you are to force someone to convert. In fact, if YOU were to convert someone to Christianity based on YOUR will and by force, it's YOUR will, not God's. Even in Christianity during the Inquisition, Believer's left Christ's Church doctrines to force others into their way of thinking.

Islam is that part of religion that Satan has convinced others to follow with such a force that there is only one way: their way: Satan's/Islam's conversion of the unbelievers to Islam. In True Christianity/Judiasm it is a matter of free will. Noah "was a preacher of Righteousness" and never forced his will by spear point, rock point, or if he had one, gun point, or kill anyone to get them to convert to God's way. Noah left each one to their own devices and God took care of them when He decided enough was enough and caused the Flood!

Notice that this is about defending ones faith rather going on the offensive and try and get one to convert. While there is nothing wrong with reasoning with others about the potentials of one's faith, it should NEVER be by gun point. Otherwise, what does that say of your religion? If you fore me to do one thing, you'll force me to do something else.

Even in America's own Colonial history there are incidences of these vary things happening.

When competition rears it's head rather than compassion, Man then errs when it comes to God. No wonder Unbeliever's look at Christians and other religious persons as weird. Why do you think that Paul states in 1 Cor 13:1-3 the affects of doing things WITHOUT LOVE!!! Because Paul was forcefully converting Christian believers to Judiasm but was stopped by Jesus Christ Himself and asked "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?"

Reading Acts 9 and then 1 Cor 13 and you see what Paul eventually sees: while judgement determines the direction that needs to be taken, love is HOW it gets done.

May God's judgement convict us of our wrongdoing, but may His Love convict us of our need for Him and to "Love others AS yourself." As 1 Cor 13 states, if you don't love others, your religion is worthless!!!!
