This Frontline program called A Dangerious Business aired a few years ago, but the affects are still being felt today. See the updates to the program.
It's along the lines of Enron, Tyco, and WorldCom, it's a moral thing. The sad part is that most vendors and customers will still do business with a company with this sort of morals rather than "shaming them" into better business behaviors.
Oh, and by the way, when you read the transcripts of the program, read what they state about ACIPCO, same business, different culture, better company!!

Success or Significance?
One of the things that I find when talking with others is whether they are looking for success or significance. What's the difference? Success is finding your own way of getting ahead in life and only thinking of yourself, but with significance is about you AND others that are around you. It's one thing to think about youself, but if you fail to consider others so that it's not a Win/Lose proposition, such as you win and the other loses, but one where it becomes a Win/Win situaion where both you and someone else you associated with gets ahead with being associated with you.
So, next time you are around someone, make sure that you are each encouraging to each other in a way that benefits both of you. It's OK to be corrective, but don't be condenscending or overly critical so that you kill someone's motivation. As the Bible points out in 1 Corinthians 13:1-3:
If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have {the gift of} prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed {the poor,} and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.
You can't give to others what you don't have, so if you can't love yourself, you can't love others. Loving yourself is getting to know what God has created in you, but loving others means seeing what God has made them to be and what they are to accomplish.
As Mother Teresa stated: You can't judge others when you are loving them!!
